| General Education For Licensees Who Are Not BOC Certified Due To Statutory Exemption
The licensed athletic trainers who were issued a license pursuant to Code of Ala 1975, Section 34-40-7, exempting them from BOC certification are required to report 26 contact hours of continuing education annually, with seven (7) of those hours being in an approved emergency cardiac care course. Detailed continuing education guidelines and emergency cardiac care guidelines are provided. Documentation must also be submitted on the forms furnished by the Board showing proof of completion of all 26 hours.
