(1) April 30 in the even-numbered years.
(2) October 31 in the even-numbered years.

| Pharmacology "As a condition of biennial renewal of prescriptive authority approval, a CRNP shall complete a minimum of 16 of the 30 hours of Board-approved continuing education in pharmacology in the 2 years prior to renewal.
Pharmacology continuing education activities must provide the knowledge and skills to understand the pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics of broad categories of drugs or drugs used in the CRNPs specialty and to analyze the relationship between pharmacologic agents and physiologic/pathologic responses." | 16 | 2 years |
| Opioids and Controlled Substances Section 9.1(a)(2) of ABCMAP requires that all CRNPs with prescriptive authority approval complete at least two (2) hours of continuing education in pain management, the identification of addiction or in the practices of prescribing or dispensing of opioids. The continuing education requirements of ABC-MAP will count towards the total number of hours of continuing education required for renewal.
