Hazelden FIT Administrator/Supervisor
This package offers guidance on good clinical supervision in integrated-treatment care and speaks directly to the needs of clinical administrators and supervisors. An introductory module presents types of supervision and illustrates in step-by-step fashion two clinical supervision models: case presentations and skills training. A follow-up module discusses several methods for supervising clinicians, including field mentoring, coaching, and data-based supervision. Solutions for common barriers to good clinical supervision are offered, and downloadable tools and resources are also available. Participants will also learn the important components of organizational change in moving to integrated care and will understand the central tasks clinical leaders must perform to initiate change. Practical guidance is offered on implementing two practice indexes: Dual Diagnosis Capacity in Addiction Treatment (DDCAT) and Dual Diagnosis Capability in Mental Health Treatment (DDCMHT). The collection offers a detailed introduction to the Integrated Dual Disorders Treatment fidelity scale, and participants will learn how to better use data to track program-level outcomes and map process outcomes.
