To understand how systemic physiological changes prepare the body for pregnancy.
To review how pregnancy directly and indirectly affects the oral health of the pregnant patient.
To identify which medications used during dental treatments that are indicated or contraindicated during pregnancy.
To list dental treatment modifications that can be used during pregnancy that provide for the comfort and safety of the mother and the developing fetus.
