Treating ADHD

Attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) is one of the most common neurodevelopmental disorders diagnosed in people of all ages. Symptoms may include difficulties with focus and concentration. It may also include impairments in impulse control. Treating individuals with ADHD can be challenging. In this course, healthcare professionals will learn to identify treatment options, including medication, to effectively treat the individuals they serve and apply and adapt interventions to support therapeutic goals.
