Tendinitis or Tendinosis? Clinical Diagnosis and Evidence-Based Treatment

Most tendon pain is not caused by underlying inflammation (tendinitis), rather it is due to degeneration and structural changes of the tendon (tendinosis). To prescribe effective interventions for these conditions, you must be able to recognize the differences in clinical presentation and pathogenesis. In this course, physical and occupational therapy professionals will learn to identify tendinitis and tendinosis and apply evidence-based interventions based on patient presentation.
