Recognize correct pronunciation of assessment questions for a patient who speaks Spanish.
Recall assessment questions for dietitians, social workers, and pharmacists.
Be familiarized with Latin American culture by discussing basic information about three Latin American countries.

Stephanie Betancur is a primary care registered nurse in the UNC-CH Campus Health Services. She is a 4th year doctoral student and research assistant at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill school of nursing. She earned a bachelor of arts in Spanish language and cultures and political science at the Appalachian State University. She also has a bachelor of science in nursing from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Stephanie is a member of the 6th cohort of the Hillman Scholars Program in Nursing Innovation.
