Learning Objectives:
Define the purpose and process of help seeker follow-up within an Information and Referral (I&R) context.
Review the Inform USA Standards regarding follow-ups.
Explain the criteria a Community Resource Specialist uses to determine when a follow-up may be appropriate.
Describe the role of Specialist discretion and agency policies in guiding the follow-up process.
Review the role of Community Information Exchanges (CIEs) and closed-loop referral systems.
Understand various methods that may be used for follow-ups.
