Wendy holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Florida State University in Biology, as well as a Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Therapy from Florida A&M University. Angela holds a Bachelor of Science degree in occupational therapy from the Medical College of Virginia/Virginia Common Wealth University. She received her master’s in administration from Central Michigan University. Angela has over 30 years of clinical experience in post-acute care. Passionate about the role of therapy in mental health and with cognitive impairment, Angela has worked closely with Claudia Allen, is a participant on the Dementia Action Alliance task force, has presented at National Conferences for both the AOTA and ASHA on mental health and a variety of other topics. Angela is also a certified trainer with the Crisis Prevention Institute teaching courses on dementia and behaviors.
