Medical Assistant: Vital Signs, Patient Rooming, and Examination

Patient rooming is the process of medical assistants greeting the patient and introducing them to the clinical setting. This process involves collecting vital signs and anthropometric measurements that guide treatment. A patient interview is performed to collect and verify information pertinent to the patient’s overall health. Medical assistants are on the front lines for initially engaging with patients and assisting in their care.

This course helps prepare medical assistants for the certification exam by obtaining knowledge of patient rooming, vital signs, and examination.
