Jurisprudence for EMS Providers in Texas

This course provides information pursuant to the Texas Jurisprudence EMS exam, which determines the applicant’s knowledge of Chapter 773 of the Health and Safety Code and other applicable laws affecting EMS personnel in the state of Texas. It will review minimum standards, access to records, criminal penalties, definitions as they are used in the Texas Administrative Code, certification requirements, disciplinary actions, continuing education, injury prevention, and functions of the offline medical director. Practice questions for the jurisprudence exam are presented throughout the course. 
The goal of this course is to provide EMS professionals in Texas with education on jurisprudence relating to their profession.
