Dementia Care: Performing ADLs

Activities of daily living (ADLs) are the basic life skills learned during childhood. Persons with dementia, however, will slowly forget or "unlearn" how to complete these tasks as cognitive impairment progresses. In this course, you will learn the various levels of functional ability in persons with dementia as well as gain a better understanding of how to assist persons with dementia with ADL completion.
