Akeiko is an experienced respiratory therapist with over 18 years of experience. She has worked in hospital care settings, managing both pediatric and adult tracheostomy and ventilator populations. Akeiko is employed in the homecare setting where the company focuses on transitioning highly complex ventilator-dependent children to the home setting. Her team educates hospital staff, home nursing agencies, and most importantly, the families/caregivers to ensure a smooth transition and provide the best possible care for the patients.
