In addition to those duties, she serves as a subject matter expert on coding issues for the company's Compliance Department.  She has extensive knowledge in Specialty Coding as well as Surgical Coding nuances. She spent over 10 years’ experience as a Physician Auditor Educator assisting Providers in understanding the documentation required for the services provided as well as the diagnosis codes. Additionally, she spent over 5 years as an HCC Auditor in the early years of the HCC inception. Cindy served as an AAPC Local Chapter President for two years in Jacksonville, Florida.
