Cassandra has 13 years of coding application, education and auditing experience. She is a Coding Quality Analyst and ICD-10-CM Subject Matter Expert and is the owner of Starr Medical Coding and Consulting LLC. Cassandra earned an Associate of Applied Science in Health Information Technology from Gateway Technical College where she was the recipient of a Graduate Scholastic Award in Health Information Technology, A Wisconsin Health Information Management Association (WHIMA) student scholarship, and an American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA) Foundation Merit Scholarship. She subsequently earned a Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences in Health Information Management from the University of Cincinnati.
